Outlaw Country Radio 95.9 FM and 1140 AM are committed to making outlawcountry959.com usable by everyone in our community, including listeners with disabilities.
Our Standard
We work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, cognitive, motor, and other disabilities.
What We Have Done
- An on-page accessibility toolbar that lets you increase or decrease text size, switch to grayscale, apply high contrast or negative contrast, use a light background, underline links, and switch to a more readable font
- A skip-to-content link so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass the navigation menu
- Descriptive alternative text on images that carry meaning
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the Site
- Form fields with visible labels and clear required-field indicators
- Responsive layouts that work at increased zoom levels and on small screens
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review new pages, posts, and features as we publish them, and we correct issues as we find them. Some older content, some third-party embedded content such as our streaming player and giveaway entry forms, and some advertiser materials may not yet meet our standard. We work with those providers where we can.
Alternate Ways to Reach Us
If any part of our Site is difficult for you to use, contact us and a person will help you directly. We will provide the information or complete the transaction for you through another method, including taking a song request or a community event submission over the phone.
